We are a small voluntary controlled Church of England Infant School situated on the outskirts of Baldock in Hertfordshire. Our school caters for girls and boys aged 4-7 years.
We share our site with St. Mary’s Junior School and our school benefits from two playgrounds, and fields with wonderful views of Weston hills.
We believe the school should be at the heart of the community and we work in close partnership with our parents, Holly Blue Children’s Centre which is on the school site, St Mary’s Church and St. Mary’s Junior School, playgroups and nurseries.
We want the children’s experience to be happy, secure and stimulating at school. We want then to enjoy coming to school and be excited about their learning and the many activities we plan into the curriculum.
We offer a variety of clubs that change regularly to cater for the wide variety of interests the children have. These are on offer during lunchtimes and after school, mainly for year 1 and year 2 children. These have included include rugby, gardening, football, gymnastics, cooking, cricket and multi-sports
The school has a very dedicated and hard working staff of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff who work as a team and value each other. The ethos of the school is very special – all staff and children feel valued and involved in the life of the school.
