Inspection Reports

SIAMS

At our last SIAMS inspection in 2016 we were graded as outstanding.

SIAMS inspection report

“There is strong and robust evidence of Christian values and the Christian character being embedded in the life of the school. Relationships at all levels are inclusive and grounded in distinctly Christian values. This is reinforced by the school vision statement ‘Sharing, caring, learning and loving with God. As a result all pupils are valued and loved, therefore they are in a good place to learn and self-esteem is high.”

Ofsted

In October 2019, St Mary’s was inspected under the new Ofsted framework and was graded as ‘requires improvement.’

There is so much to be proud of at the school, in particular the behaviour and attitudes of pupils as well as our commitment to every child’s personal development. Although the grade is disappointing, we now have an exciting opportunity to grow our school together under the direction of our new Headteacher so that all members of our community can flourish.
