In 2020/21, we introduced new Leadership Roles for the children, which enabled them to share their pupil voice and those of their peers, as well as show respect for each other and our world. These are very important roles in shaping the direction of our school. The roles available are:
Eco-Warrior
House Captain
Pupil Parliament
Worship Acolyte
Children are given the opportunity to apply for any of the 4 roles. They can only hold one position and the role lasts an academic year.
In order to be elected, a child must make a short ‘speech’ to their classmates as to why they should be chosen and the class then vote anonymously.
For the roles in Pupil Parliament, Eco-Warriers & Worship Acolytes, 2 children per class are elected.
Each House has a captain elected from a Year 2 class.
